Path of Exile Item Upgrading
Item upgrading allows players to improve their weapons and gear with new affixes that boost its stats base or providing additional benefits. To upgrade items, players must have the item in their inventory and access the kiln.
Typically objects with weak bases (like rings) can be upgraded to a more powerful base while items with strong bases such as Eth titans don't change in their stats following being upgraded.
Upgrade components
